Off topic: I've just realised I haven't used this Katurian icon in FOREVER. Usually I'd kick it out but I like it too much. I just can't find appropriate times to use it since I don't really read Doctor/Master fics anymore. :P

*sees the Doctor Who series 4 press launch pictures of David Tennant and Simon Pegg*

*notes how similar Simon Pegg is to John Simm*

...someone needs to photoshop Simm's head on top of Pegg's. Sorry Simon, but you've got to go to make room for Dave/John (or Doctor/Master if you like). The potential RPS-yayness in that photo...oh the possibilities...

Guh.

I really like this picture too:

Title: Puzzle Pieces
Rating: R (implied non-con)
Characters/Pairings: Master/Doctor, Jack
Spoilers: None.
Summary: Jack watches from afar as the Master makes the Doctor feel as much a prisoner as himself.
A/N: Originally posted 26/11/07; this version's slightly edited. It's told from Jack's POV so ambiguity abounds.

Jack watches the CCTV footage late at night with a cup of coffee to keep him company, because he hasn’t anything better to do. )

Divided We Fall by Jomel10. (It's probably on LJ too, somewhere, but hey.)
Summary: To get some help for an unwell Doctor, The TARDIS sends him and Martha back to 21st century Cardiff, where the Doctor is shocked to meet a very bitter Jack. Can they work together again to stop their greatest threat yet?

It's got a bit of Master/Doctor, iirc. That's always good. :)

I was staring at my Doctor Who series 3 boxset (the version with the Doctor and the Master on it, of course!) while listening to The Rite of Spring by Stravinsky - yeah, so what, I'm a bit of a classical music geek. Anyway, just in case someone doesn't know what The Rite of Spring is (and I didn't, not until about three years ago and it took me another two more years or so to manage to listen to the whole thing all the way through and around six months to a year to even like it) and uh, where was I?

Oh right. So anyway, The Rite of Spring's a ballet and it's about this sacrificial ceremony where one girl is picked to dance herself to death.
And how does this relate to Doctor/Master? )

Title: Four is Company
Rating: PG
Characters/Pairings: Master/Doctor
Spoilers: Not really...it's set between The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords though.
Summary: The Master takes the Doctor out for dinner. Crack!fic.
A/N: Originally posted on 6/10/07. Based on the prompt 'dinner in a foreign restaurant'. And I have this urge to add in a few lines but... nah. I did take out two words though.

Title: Match Point
Rating: PG
Characters/Pairings: Master/Doctor, Donna
Spoilers: Last of the Time Lords
Summary: They have been playing for so long and he knew he was breaking every rule in the book when he typed in those coordinates, but the Doctor wanted to see. He needed to see him smiling, confident, charming and alive again no matter what.
A/N: Originally posted on 4/10/07, and I'm still nervous about this fic.

He knew this was a bad idea. A very bad idea, and yet he can’t take his eyes off him. )

FLOATING AROUND THE DOCTOR WHO SET, EHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! *flails* To anyone who might ever, ever read my LJ: stop reading this right now and go read [info]versaphile's RPS David Tennant/John Simm fic!

Anyway, back to seriousness.

*silence as quazonic tries very, very hard to remove the mental image of John Simm floating around the Doctor Who set*

*ahem*

ANYWAY.

Yeah. Sounds awesome.

RTD, BRING THE MASTER BACK. NOW. BEFORE TEN REGENERATES, PREFERABLY, OTHERWISE DOCTOR/MASTER MIGHT NOT BE HALF AS PRETTY AS IT IS NOW.

I think... I'm getting better at making icons. Obviously I still have no idea what I'm doing when using photoshop, but... I think I'm getting better?

(Used one of [info]77words's textures. First time I've ever used a texture. Ha.)

*gets distracted by that cheesy little grin in the icon*

Gah.

...

SOMEONE should manip Mr Copper out (no matter how much I like him) and put the Master in. You'd only need the back of his head anyway...

One thing I've noticed after a night of icon-hunting is that the best icons always seem to be the black and white ones. Now why is that. So frustrating.

Say, when's the series 4 soundtrack coming out? :D

BWAHAHA.

Tennant's Special Gig

DAVID Tennant had a ball during the Hootenanny recording.

The Scots actor was spotted rocking along to his favourite band, the Kaiser Chiefs.

And defying a ban on mobiles, David, who plays Doctor Who, filmed the band and even sang along into his phone's microphone.

He watched the show with John Simm, the man tipped to replace him as the Time Lord.

And producers had the pair perfectly poised to step into the Tardis, which they had brought into the BBC studio for the evening's filming.

David danced in time to the Scottish pipe band and then took time to share a drink or two with Kaiser frontman Ricky Wilson's family.

Sorry, this is just the Doctor/Master shipper in me going "zomg awesome!"

:D:D:D:D:D:D
